This phrase has been used a thousand times and more in order to point out the very essence of life. How many times have we asked ourselves and others the question about the meaning of being alive on this beautiful planet, waiting for the answer in vain, because it cannot come through thinking or studying philosophy. Even the most advanced scientists like Albert Einstein and others could not touch the very essence of life and had to admit that it will only reveal itself by grace to those who make themselves available. We all need to enter new ways of Being to find grace and liberation. As we look back to all those years of committing ourselves to the search for truth we can see clearer and clearer, that we have been guided into the Light, one step at a time. There are many in this world, who have chosen the path of meditation, looking inside again and again to find an answer, a very lonely way to walk in the desert of loneliness, at times. There are others who are working the garden of Love, sharing the wonder of beauty and abundance of life in gratitude with their lovers and friends. We can find countless testimony of both paths in poetry and prose as well as in the pointings of sages, spirtitual teachers and enlightend beings. And yes, they are all pointings to the ONE. It is a choice which path to travel everyone of us will make, the desert or the garden or maybe both…

Through the many years I have been experimenting with meditation it has become the foundation of my being in this world. The beauty and stillness of the innermost realm started to permeate into every aspect of my life, brushing my teeth, driving my car, giving bodywork sessions, running the retreat center, enjoying my food, relating to lovers and friends and all those are coming for advice and guidance. The garden and the desert become one at last, a powerful and deeply healing experience. It is not even a matter of choice anymore, I cannot turn back, even if I wanted to. More than 15 years ago I initiated the Heart Sangha in Europe. The sanskrit word Sangha means Community, a gathering of spiritual seekers and devotees, where anyone from all backgrounds is welcome to be part. We practice our connection to the Divine through meditation, devotional chanting, yoga, awareness exercise, art work and music and meaningful exchange from the heart and I hope to contribute all this richness to our new Community of Light.

Through living a life of devotion to the Divine, one naturally becomes ONE, deeply rooted in grace, knowingness, gratitude and acceptance and unwaivering trust.

To start the inauguration of the new Community of Light experience, Shakti and I will be offering the essence of our experiences in an open and gentle setting of weekly online meetings and our aim is to find out what our hearts want to share. Everyone is invited to participate.
